It's no secret that I don't love treadmill running. But after Snowpocalypse 2011 I have been driven indoors this week. I put on my Nike Tempos this morning to help ensure I could do the run today. But I just.couldn't.face it. I was complaining to dh and had just thrown in the towel.
Then my sweet son and runner-in-training came up to me. It went something like this:
Son: How many miles are you supposed to do today?
Me: 6
Son: How many are you supposed to do tomorrow?
Me:4
Son: Well how about if you do the 4 and I will come keep you company.
- followed by huge encouraging bear hug-
So we banged out the 4 miles. Thank you sweetie! You rock!
