If 2010 had come with a road sign, this would have been it. There were a lot of twists & turns, hills & valleys. Normally I don't make New Year's resolutions or spend a lot of time pondering what the next year will hold. But after the valley that the last 3 months has been, I have spent a lot of time in prayer and reflection-ready to step out of the periphery of life. My word this year is MORE. I am ready for my life to be more, to give more, train more, love more and just BE more. This year I will not just exist, but I will LIVE.
So what is your word? How will it change the way you embrace this year?
Now for the good stuff! We are giving away a Your Word Necklace. You can choose to have it like mine (shown with our "I am not afraid" pendant, or you can choose to have just the customized "Word" charm on your necklace.

ReplyDeleteMy word would be "Endure" it would help me in both my running/tris and my spiritual life as I feel like it is a challenge to endure to the end by following Christ and completing my races. I want to do a 70.3 this year, and my main goal is to finish, and I feel like it is not going to be easy, so "endure to the end" is what I want to do this year and in my life.

ReplyDeleteIt's got to be....CHERISH...
as my baby boy is growing way too fast and will be one in Feb, along with dreams of more kiddos, more quality time with my husband, and balancing work with a healthy life...I will CHERISH every special moment with my little man, my family/friends, and those few minutes early in the morning where I get "me time" with a work-out.
Put it on my blog.

But also this year, I'm reaching deeper to accomplish my first full marathon. "You are capable of so much more than you think." Just gotta reach for it...
My word would "mojo" though it's probably not even a word - I keep telling my friends that I got my mojo back - for running and working out for triathlon. I kinda lost it after I fell really hard in a 5K race and got hurt - and now feel better about things.
